Hello, I’m Graham
I’m Graham, a celebrant based in Essex with a passion for bringing people together to mark life’s most important moments.
Alongside my work as a celebrant, I’m still serving as an Army Officer, having spent more than 35 years in the British Army. My career has given me countless opportunities to speak, present, teach and work with people from all walks of life. I’m comfortable speaking in front of large audiences, but I also understand the importance of listening, connecting and making people feel at ease.
Becoming a celebrant was a very personal decision. After writing and delivering the funeral services for both of my parents, I discovered just how much meaning and comfort a carefully written and thoughtfully delivered ceremony can bring. It inspired me to train as a celebrant myself.
I particularly enjoy the combination of writing, planning and meeting people, but most of all, I enjoy helping people tell their stories. Whether celebrating a couple’s journey, remembering someone special or marking a new chapter, I believe every ceremony should be as individual as the people at its heart.
I’m a qualified Wedding and Funeral Celebrant and am registered with the Association of Independent Celebrants. Based in Essex, I’m available across Essex, Suffolk and further afield.
